Welcome to Lile’s Lops! Lile’s Lops is a youth operated rabbitry in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Waynesville, North Carolina. The rabbitry is small (23 holes), but I believe in quality, not quantity.
I raise Holland Lops (the adorable lop eared bunnies that are full of personality) in torts, sable points, pointed whites, and blues, and breed for show purposes only.
I began trying to start the rabbitry in the fall of 2010, but the rabbitry wasn't really fully established until the summer of 2011. I started showing rabbits in the spring of 2011, and have done very well so far considering the short time I have been doing this.
My rabbitry is ARBA registered, and I am a proud member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, the Holland Lop Rabbit Specialty Club, and The Blue Ridge Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association.
My rabbits all come from champion stock, and my lines mostly come from Hamilton’s and Smith’s.
I have made many great friends and have met some amazing people through this hobby, and everyone has been very gracious in helping me as I have been getting started. I really want to thank Lory-Ann Rubinstein, Malena Hamilton, Gary & Susan Smith, and April Rupe for being great rabbit mentors and really helping me get a great start into this hobby!
